Personal Statement Workshop

Staring at a blank screen? Or have way too many pages of your personal statement? This workshop is for you! Learn what to include and how to make your personal statement stand out. Students with more than 60 credits who submit a very clean personal statement in word format to depalok@fiu.edu (Subject: Personal Statement—Your last name) by Monday, October 1st will have an opportunity for a one-on-one evaluation of that statement during the workshop.

Law schools admissions representatives will provide an overview of their programs and advice on the admissions process; well-crafted versus poor personal statements; disclosures on admission materials; how to deal with “problems”; and how to best prepare your applications. Fee waivers may be available.
